I wrote this riff way back in the year 2000 while i was living on the couch of my friends, john and Tom.

I had recently been inspired by Deon to mess around with alternate tunings. I didnt really know what 'alternate tunings' really meant, but what he was doing sounded really cool, so sometimes, as in this case, I would tune all the strings to the same note, which gave it a big chorus sound.

22 years later, i decided to re-use the unused riff and try adding lyrics. I laid those down, and then asked Rahela to collaborate. and of course, she killed it.

unfortunately im a rather bad mixer-downer. this song is even cooler before the mix. one day!
